Hi, I'm Vitus!
I am a Senior at Princeton University, where I study computer science and journalism. As a computer science major, I focus on developing tools and interventions that better serve users and the world. My research on the novel implementation of an eco-feedback system for LLMs was
published in CHI ’25 as a late breaking work.
Through my coursework, I have developed an expertise in human-computer interaction reserach methods, digital system design, machine learning, algorithms and data structures, among other core computer science concepts. This semester, I am researching how an LLM based intervention may improve mental health outcomes for social media users.
On campus, I am the
Senior News writer for the Daily Princetonian, where I write stories on the changing role of higher education and student activism. I was formerly the Head Podcast Editor, where I led a team of 20 student journalists in writing, recording, and producing the campus conversation.
Off campus, I have worked for
LAist, an NPR station serving millions of listeners in the Los Angeles region. At LAist, I reported on homelessness, police misconduct, and government accountability. I have also worked with
Midstory, a non-profit organization dedicated to research and storytelling that centers the Midwest narrative.
